Ue Moriba Pogba, the mother of Manchester United star Paul Pogpa, has been the country's women's football ambassador.
The Guinean Football Confederation confirmed today the appointment of Yu Pogpa as Guinea's women's football ambassador through a media statement.
The move came hours after Ue Bugba met with Guinean Football Association president Mamadou Suare.
"He is proud of what the Guinean Football Confederation has done and its president," said Yu Pogpa.
The Guinean Football Association hopes that the winner of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in France will be used to raise the level of women's football in the country.
