A plane that had been on its way to Schiphol on Friday afternoon had, due to a report about a suspicious package, landed at the French airport Rennes. The unrest was caused by a piece of luggage that was forgotten by the owner.

The plane of the French price fighter HOP! was from Nantes, a city in the west of France. The flight AF1792 would arrive in Amsterdam at 13.35 hrs.

The ninety passengers had to get off after landing in Rennes. Subsequently, the plane and luggage were examined. That, according to a spokesman from the parent company Air France, resulted in a piece of luggage that a passenger of a previous flight had forgotten to take with him.

According to the spokesman, according to regulations, the aircraft goes back to Nantes and passengers will travel on other flights.
