Since the Friday afternoon, thousands of Palestinians have poured into the "return" camps on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip to participate in peaceful "return marches".

The Supreme National Authority for Return and Breaking the Siege - which includes several Palestinian factions - in a statement to continue the marches to achieve all its objectives.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the insistence of the Palestinians to participate in the march of return and breaking the siege confirms "the determination of the masses and their solid will to achieve the goals of the marches, first and foremost the siege of the Gaza Strip."

Since the end of March, thousands of Palestinians have been marching at the borders of the Gaza Strip to demand the return of Palestinian refugees to their villages and towns from which they fled in 1948 and to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation army has violently repressed these peaceful marches, killing dozens of Palestinians and wounding thousands.
