Trump said yesterday (28th) at a news conference that they were raising the Yongbyon nuclear facilities at the negotiating table and surprised North Korea. The US military says it is a facility that produces highly enriched uranium, a nuclear bomb material, and that two locations are hidden in western North Korea.

Kim Tae-hoon, a defense specialist, reports.

President Trump said at the press conference that the major nuclear facilities outside of Yongbyon are uranium enrichment facilities.

[Trump / President: (speaking of a uranium enrichment facility?) That's right. We've pointed that out a lot.]

The United States has demanded the dismantling of secret uranium enrichment facilities that North Korea has hidden, as well as the public Yongbyon under surveillance by military reconnaissance satellites and private commercial satellites.

The South Korean military has identified a secret uranium enrichment facility outside Yongbyon in North Hwanghae province and North Pyongan province in western North Korea.

North Korea has more than 30 nuclear facilities, including the Yongbyon and uranium enrichment facilities, as well as high-end test facilities, uranium mines, and refineries.

Secretary of State Pompeii also demanded the dismantling of a weapons system capable of nuclear attack immediately.

[Mike Pompei / US Secretary of State: (besides Yongbyon) missiles, nuclear warheads, weapons systems, etc. I could not agree with North Korea on various factors.]

Missiles and bases, missile research and production facilities, and nuclear warheads are hidden throughout North Korea.

Putting the United States on the negotiating table covering North Korea's future nuclear facilities and the current nuclear weapons system is actually a complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization, that is, CVID.
