It is the sea that the NLL crosses between Yeonpyeong Island and North Korea dog head coast.

The fishing vessels here are, in all likelihood, Chinese illegal fishing boats.

When Chinese fishing vessels cross over to the NLL, our Navy or Seaports are forced to approach the NLL for crackdown.

At this time, there is a warning broadcast on the North side, and a severe warning fire, which may eventually lead to accidental collision.

To prevent such a collision, the North and South exchanged information on the status of vessels in third countries illegally operating on the West Sea at 9:00 am and 4:00 pm yesterday via the West Sea District communications line.

It was agreed in June 2004 to separate the fishing vessels of the two Koreas from the Chinese fishing vessels. It was resumed in 10 years after it was suspended in May 2008.

Future exchanges will be held twice a day between 9 am and 4 pm.

In July, the two Koreas normalized the operation of the international merchant ship's common communication network.
