The former President of Colombia, Andres Pastrana Arango, accepted this Monday, October 29, 2018 the invitation of Hervé Morin, President of Normandy, to participate in the second Normandy forum for peace, in June 2019.
Successful exchange of Normans Hervé Morin, François-Xavier Priolleau and Catherine Morin-Desailly, this Monday, October 29, 2019 in Bogota, Colombia, with associations for peace, justice and truth, reinstatement of Farc veterans. After the 2016 agreements, peace remains very fragile in this country. The National Liberation Army (NLA) rushes into areas abandoned by the FARC. And the state does not keep its promises of help to rural areas. This leaves room for illegal savings and drug trafficking.
All these actors for a lasting peace were invited to the second Normandy forum for peace on the 4th and 5th of June 2019 in Caen. The theme will be: "Peace makers between success and failure and peace, and after? Former President Andres Pastrana Arango has already accepted the invitation.
