A rodeo, bullets in the air ... Motorists from the Vendée Nord, made a dangerous trip, Friday, November 10. After escaping from the gendarmerie system set up at the Bignon toll, the big cars melted into the Nantes traffic.

Five to six large sedans engaged in a rodeo in the sector of Montaigu, in the North-Vendée. It was Friday, November 10, late afternoon. The testimonies collected also mention the use of handguns, with shots in the air. The police then decided to put a device in place, in the southern suburbs of Nantes, around 18 h. The procession of cars was indeed seen by a gendarmerie patrol in Vertou. But without any offense being found.

Shortly after, cars corresponding to the reports were again seen, this time at the Bignon toll. But the vehicles, using the electronic toll system and merging with the flow of cars, important at that time, were able to pass the toll barriers without being intercepted by the gendarmes. They sped at a brisk pace, over 200 km / h, towards Nantes. The vehicles then melted into the traffic.

CCTV tapes should be viewed to identify vehicles, to go back to owners or their users.
