The weather on Monday will be more variable and cloudy in general with some showers on the relief of the East, according to Météo-France forecasts.

After crossing the northern half during the night, banks of low clouds will settle between the Southwest, Massif Central and Central East. Some thicker morning clouds will also dominate north of the Seine and especially along the northern borders.

During the day, the clearings will widen on the southern half while the sky will remain more variable in the North. Showers will develop on the Massif Central and the relief of the East, giving some flakes to 700 m on the Vosges, and to 1.000 / 1.200 m on the Jura and the Northern Alps.

Wind in the Southeast. The sun will dominate all day long in the Mediterranean regions, swept by a wind from north to northwest that will strengthen. The tramontane and mistral will blow at 70/90 km / h from Roussillon to the Rhone Valley, locally close to 100 km / h in the lower Rhone valley at the end of the day.

The minimum temperatures will vary between 1 and 7 degrees in general, with some frost on the north-east quarter and 8 to 12 degrees near the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, the peaks will reach 10 to 14 degrees over the northern half from east to west, 14 to 18 degrees over the southern half and 19 to 23 over the southeast.
