Mohammed Bin Zayed: Building the capabilities of national defense industries is a strategic objective

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said that building the capabilities of national defense industries will remain a strategic objective.

This came during his visit to the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX 2019) at the end of his activities at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). His Highness visited a number of national and international pavilions and briefed them on the most important technologies offered in the fields of defense, .

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and representatives of the companies exchanged views on the exhibits and development projects carried out by their international companies and their role in enhancing security and stability and protecting cities through new technologies, control and control systems, radar and air and sea defense systems.

He also spoke with them about the role of IDEX, one of the world's leading exhibitions in exchanging experiences, experiences and ideas in future projects.

During the tour, he visited the pavilions of Bin Hilal, which offers products in the defense and aerospace industry, British military specialist BCB International, Aquila Aerospace and the Trust International Group, which introduced the latest defense systems and equipment. HRH said that IDEX 2019 has launched a new phase of partnerships and cooperation between companies and specialists in the field of manufacturing and marketing of defense and military products and its advanced systems. He pointed out that attracting the momentum from participants to major international companies and institutions is a reflection of the success achieved in each session. And remains a destination for companies seeking the best environment for the prosperity of this sector.

He added that the exhibition has provided a global platform for the past 25 years to view the latest defense and military systems and the latest developments in the industry and innovations.
