UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited IDEX 2019, which will be hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) for five days.
He toured the exhibition and stopped at a number of national and international companies' platforms to participate in the event, which is rated by observers as among the most famous and the largest defensive exhibitions in the world.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during his comprehensive tour in Hall No. 3, listened to explanations from the pavilions of the national and foreign companies participating in this international event, which number more than one thousand and three hundred UAE and international government companies. From officials and exhibitors to the latest in military defense techniques and research from innovations and modern industries, some of which are presented for the first time at IDEX.
Among the industries witnessed by His Highness are highly sophisticated radar systems, amphibious military systems, missile defense systems, light individual weapons and all that is necessary to arm advanced ground armies.
His Highness the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai welcomed the exhibitors and military participants in this global gathering, which attracts the leading companies in the field of military and defense industries and technologies that are keen to participate in IDEX because of the importance it has gained over twenty five years Since its inception in 1993 and is still growing cycle after cycle and gaining wider international fame.
HH Sheikh Mohammed stressed that the UAE exhibition industry has become a pioneer in the region and the world thanks to the efficiency of our human cadres and the acquisition of scientific and practical expertise locally and internationally, thus becoming experts in many sectors of national work, production and creativity.
