HH Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of raising the level of awareness of the importance of the space sector to the younger generation and transferring its advanced knowledge, technology and knowledge to the UAE, in addition to enhancing the role of advanced national research and development centers and international cooperation and exchange of information in line with the objectives of the strategy. "We are proud today that there are four centers specialized in the research and development of space in our country, all of which have manufacturing capabilities, where citizens represent more than half, and more than half of the citizens are women."

The National Space Strategy aims to support the realization of the Emirates vision in the space industry with its various sciences, technologies, applications and services. It is also one of the pillars and potentials of the national regulatory framework for the space sector in the country, which consists of the four components: the National Space Policy, the Regulation of the Space Sector, And the National Space Strategy, while the Strategy is a national reference for priority initiatives of stakeholders and institutions operating in the space sector.

The strategy addresses the UAE's industry and space activities until 2030, reaching the objectives of Vision 2021 and UAE 2071, including government space activities, commercial activities, scientific activities carried out by public and private sector actors, and academic institutions , Research and development centers, and also international space activities or other States, in which State actors participate and contribute.

The implementation of the strategy supports an integrated infrastructure and regulatory framework for the country's space sector, especially with four centers specialized in space research and development: the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in Dubai, the National Center for Space Research and Technology in Al Ain, the Yahas Center at the Masdar Institute in Abu Dhabi, For space science and astronomy.

In the organizational and governmental affairs, the Council adopted the composition of the Financial Activities Committee, which is competent to consider the subjects referred to it by the regulatory authorities, concerning financial activities, and to study any proposal or opinion to regulate any financial activity other than those mentioned in the laws of the regulatory authorities.

In foreign affairs and international cooperation, the Council approved and ratified a number of international agreements, including the ratification of an agreement between the Government of the UAE and the Government of the Republic of Chad on the promotion and mutual protection of investment and seven agreements on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of financial evasion with the Government of the Republic of Chad, The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Government of the Republic of Suriname, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Government of the Republic of Angola and the Republic of Costa Rica.

- Forming the Financial Activities Committee to consider the matters referred to it by the regulatory authorities and related to financial activities.

The agreements also included the signing of the two Arab conventions on regulating the transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues, preventing and combating trafficking, combating human cloning, the two Arab protocols on combating trafficking in human beings, especially women and children, and preventing and combating maritime piracy and armed robbery. The Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on an amendment to the Mutual Exemption from the Pre-Entry Visa for Holders of Diplomatic Passports and two Conventions on the State's accession to the Belt and Road Initiative and the Cooperation Mechanism Taxes, and accession to the Organization of Central American States (SICA) as an observer.

Structuring the National Space Strategy

The strategy is based on three main areas: space exploration, manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing and space services, and the Emirates Space Agency is responsible for following up the implementation of the strategy, in collaboration with strategic partners, and has established and strengthened international cooperation in space through cooperation with More than 25 agencies and space centers of other friendly countries with leading and ambitious space programs, and work on an ambitious plan to launch five new satellites until 2021.
