Argentine striker Lionel Messi has returned to training at Barcelona after a rapid recovery from his recent injury to the arm.

Messi suffered a broken right arm on October 20, during Barcelona's match against Sevilla in the Spanish league championship, and doctors estimated at the time of his absence in three weeks.

But his recovery from injury is faster than expected, and his return to play before the international stopover in mid-November is not ruled out.

Messi missed two Barcelona matches in the past, but the team managed to make up for his absence and won the first match 2-0 at Inter Milan in the Champions League, and won the second 5-1 on Real Madrid in the Spanish league.

Messi will miss the squad at the King's Cup on Wednesday and is unlikely to play against Real Madrid's Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

Barcelona face Inter in the Champions League on November 9, and will play Real Betis on the 11th of this month.
