The festival does not begin until November 14, but until the concerts, the So Blues team moves to the Center des Jacobins at Le Mans, for meetings and exhibitions.
The Soblues festival will take place from November 14 to 17, at Le Mans. We are expecting Bill Deraime, Tao Ravao in duo with Vincent Bucher, Ella and Foy, Alex de Vree and Erwan Le Fichant and the Americans: those of the Mississippi Summit Blues Tour, those of the Chicago Blues and
these young artists of the new generation of blues.
All these concerts will be preceded by a cocktail blues, provided by one or more artists from the region.
Before tasting these guitar or harmonica notes, Soblues invites the public to enter its ephemeral space, at the Jacobins shopping center, located on the rue de l'Étoile (entrance opposite the Tourist Office). In this place, an exhibition of the vinyl bags that owns Armand Meignan, organizer of the festival with Charlotte Rivière. Pouches designed by "great graphic designers like Jean Buzelin or Jean Vern". This one on an imitation of kraft paper, has figured legends of the blues, as T. Bone Walker, Albert King, Joe Turner ... Ninety-six pouches are thus exposed on display stands, until November 10, 13 at 7 pm
