Lavrov reaffirmed Moscow’s readiness to build a constructive dialogue with Washington

This is stated in the comments of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

As clarified in the department, the meeting exchanged views on the state and prospects of development of bilateral relations.

“The Russian side confirmed its readiness to constructively build a dialogue with the United States on a wide range of issues on the basis of equality and mutual consideration of interests,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov spoke about the desire of Moscow to restore several formats of dialogue with Washington.

Oleg Morozov, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Council of the Federation, commented on a statement by State Department spokesman Heather Nauert about possible new sanctions against Russia in an interview with FAN.
