During his visit to the Republic of San Marino, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov laid flowers at the monument to those who died as a result of the terrorist attack in Beslan. The monument, depicting a crying boy, was opened in the Southern European state in 2006. Earlier, during a speech in the parliament of San Marino, Lavrov noted that the opening of the monument is evidence of solidarity with the victims of the tragedy and an appeal to do everything possible to prevent similar events in the future.
