“In our common“ home ”of the CSTO, the EAEU, unlike other alliances (say, the North Atlantic Alliance), does not have any dictate. We never impose anything on anyone, ”Lavrov said in an interview with the Khabar news agency in Kazakhstan.
According to the minister, when they say that NATO has full consensus, and the CSTO and EAEU countries do not vote equally in the UN on important political issues, it becomes clear “at what price is NATO consensus ensured”.
“This is not a partnership at all, not a comradely approach, but dictate. Yes, there is a minority that is always ready to listen to the “senior comrade”, while everyone else is simply convincing, forced by threats, in different ways, ”the head of the diplomatic department said.
At the same time, Lavrov stressed that there is a consensus in the CSTO, the EAEU and the CIS, which does not reflect the dominance of the minority over the majority.
Earlier, Lavrov said that Russia does not intend to participate in the trade war between the United States and China.
