After the breakdown of the North Korean summit in Hanoi, Kim Myung Kil, the North Korean ambassador to Vietnam, who has conducted Kim Jong Eun's committee and the North Korean delegation, will be replaced in about four years.

Chosun Central News Agency announced on May 8, "Ambassador Kim Myung-gil, Chosun Delegation of the Supreme Chosun Dynasty, visited Dae Jok Ok Tin of Wen Nam (Vietnam) on May 5 to farewell."

Kim's appointment as ambassador to Vietnam in August 2015 has left him three years and eight months.

However, he did not make any reference to his resignation or new ambassadors.

Kim, who previously served as the director of the Asia Pacific Office of Foreign Affairs, served as ambassador to the United Nations at the United Nations in 2006 and 2009, and served as the "unofficial US ambassador" to North Korea.

In February, during the North American summit meeting with Kim Jong Eun and his official visit to Vietnam, Kim and his delegation were held at the local level.

During his first visit to Hanoi, Kim also encouraged the embassy staff to find the North Korean embassy in which he was working.

On the other hand, in his farewell visit to Kim Dae-sung, vice-minister of Vietnam Dai Ngoc said, "I would like to emphasize friendly relations with the Korean Workers' Party and the government and promote peace and stability of the Korean peninsula (the Korean peninsula) I will maintain a consistent position to support it, "the Central News Agency said.
