In the first reaction of Khadija Genghis, the fiance of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi, to Saudi Arabia's confession to his death at the consulate, she wrote a tweet in Twitter saying,

And she quoted a verse in Surat al-Baqarah, "If you kill a soul, then you will be buried in it, and God is a way out of what you were keeping quiet." Before adding, "May God have mercy on you, my darling Jamal.

And if you kill a soul, then you shall die, and Allah is a way out of what you have been keeping quiet

In a second chant, I wrote "The heart to grieve, and the eye to tear, and we are on your part, my love, the beauty of the comforters."

Khadija was the first to contact the Turkish authorities after Khashoggi's disappearance after entering the consulate. He also contacted his friend Yassin Aktay, the adviser to the ruling AKP president. Her fiancé had asked her to contact the man if she felt he had been upset.

The Saudi Attorney-General announced at dawn on Saturday the killing of a journalist inside the consulate in Istanbul on the second of this month.

Saudi sources attributed the journalist's death to a quarrel, and announced the detention of 18 Saudis for questioning, and toppled four senior officials and initiated the restructuring of intelligence.
