Khadija Genghis, the fiancé of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, demanded the release of his body and the speedy prosecution of those who committed the crime of his murder and those responsible for it.

"I want to uncover the circumstances of this case, identify those responsible, and prosecute the perpetrators of the crime and those who ordered it, so that they deserve the punishment they deserve," she said in an interview with the program Ma Mahefi Aamad.

"As relatives of Jamal, and as one of them, we have to know where the body is, this is our human right."

Khadija Genghis revealed that she rejected an invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit the White House, asserting that her visit to Washington is not available at the moment.

She said she was still living a shock she could not overcome, although Khashoggi was confirmed dead. She revealed that she had agreed to hold their wedding the week he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
