JR East plans to increase the number of homes on one side to two sides by the spring of 20, and also to expand the concourse and ticket gates.

JR East is investing about 50 billion yen for construction of a station extension and barrier-free construction for around 7 railway stations around the competition venue and the airport. Sendagaya station stopping each station stop at the Chuo Line plans to remove the temporary home used at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964 and build a new home for Shinjuku direction. To set up an escalator, elevator, home door, expand the width of 5 meters in the temporary home up to 9 meters.

On the 17th, on the construction site, 70 meters of the 210 meters home at the time of completion was revealed in a concrete exposed state.
