The fastest train in India has just suffered its first breakdown, the day after its inauguration. The authorities say he would have overturned a cow, but it seems that it is a real technical problem that has suffered this new flagship railway India.

It had just been inaugurated by the Prime Minister, who presented it Friday as one of the jewels of Indian technology. Unfortunately, the Vande Bharat Express broke down for more than an hour on its second inauguration trip, and while carrying a group of journalists.

The railway authorities say the train stopped after overturning a cow, but the reporters confirmed that it was in fact a braking system that had stalled after a communication problem between the wagons.

Malfunctions and delays quite common in India, in fact, for a train that is yet exceptional. The Vande Bharat express, with a rounded and modern look, is a sign of old locomotives traveling on one of the largest railway networks in the world.

When it does not break down, this train connects New Delhi to Benares in 8 hours, with peaks at 160km / h, an unprecedented speed in India.
