Morozov doubted that if Ukraine joins the EU, “Ukraine will be able to offer at least something to the EU.”
“This country has got quite a serious scientific and technical base after the USSR, but now it all has fallen into decay and I do not think that the technologies that Kiev possesses are of interest to the European Union. Maybe they are interested in chernozem, natural resources and labor, but not so much as to justify the adoption of the country in the EU, ”he concluded.
Earlier, Poroshenko said that Ukraine will receive a positive decision on joining the EU. At the same time, he noted that Europe is not complete without Ukraine.
