According to her, holding the meeting is important for the American side. She noted that Washington continues to maintain contacts with the DPRK.

She also said that the State Department would “let know” when additional information about the re-scheduled meeting between Pompeo and Kim Yong Chol appears.

Earlier it became known that the meeting of Pompeo with representatives of the DPRK planned in New York on November 8 was postponed.
