In St. Petersburg, arrested the mother of a child who died of hunger

“A criminal case has been initiated against a 31-year-old local resident suspected of having committed a crime, as provided for in paragraph“ c ”of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder). The woman was charged, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen, ”the statement reads.

According to the version of the investigators, the accused left the child without proper supervision, as well as without care and food, intending to achieve his death. As a result, on January 28, 2019, the child died, presumably from exhaustion.

Investigation of the criminal case continues.

Earlier, the portal VashGorod.ru, with reference to the regional branch of the Investigation Committee, reported that in the Kemerovo region information on the death of a child after riding a hill is being checked.
