Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted the ignoring of historical logic by the Polish authorities, as they decided to organize events to mark the anniversary of the outbreak of World War II without the participation of Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also stressed that Poland systematically falsifies the chronicle of the Second World War and the postwar period.

In early February, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Bartosh Chihotsky announced that the ministry would recommend the authorities to invite Putin to commemorative events.
