According to TASS, Goncharenko did this during a debate on the report on the credentials of national delegations, the approval of which may contribute to the settlement of relations between Russia and PACE.

The Ukrainian criticized the report, noting that the document is "a concession to the ultimatum of Russia."

“I am already preparing for the return of Russia (to PACE. - RT ),” said the deputy and put on large green rubber gloves.

He added that in the presence of Russian colleagues "it is not safe to shake hands and touch door handles."

Assembly Chairman Lilianne Mori Pasquier reminded Goncharenko that he was "not on the stage of the theater."

“So it’s not necessary to use different props for changing clothes,” she said.

On October 2, the Verkhovna Rada urged to maintain restrictions for the Russian delegation to the PACE. For the draft resolution voted 242 deputies.

The parliament decided to condemn attempts to lift restrictive measures against the Russian permanent delegation to PACE.
