According to the newspaper, around 00:30 Novitsky helped his wife to park a car in the yard of a house on Levitan Street, when a stranger approached him and climbed into a fight.
It is reported that the journalist used the means of self-defense - a gas spray and a traumatic pistol. As a result, both were injured and were hospitalized.
The attacker is detained, a criminal case under the article on hooliganism.
The police informed that the attacker was very drunk and could not explain his actions.
