“The first such salute will be seen by Muscovites and guests of the capital ... April 10 in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the hero-city of Odessa from the enemy,” the newspaper said.
It is noted that a total of 11 salutes will be produced this year, in 2020 - six.
Salutes will be launched from April 10, 2019 to May 9, 2020 in honor of the liberation of Odessa, Sevastopol, Minsk, Brest, Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Kaunas, Chisinau, Bucharest, Belgrade, Warsaw, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, and in honor of storming Berlin.
It is clarified that the schedule for launching salutes was drawn up in accordance with the dates for the liberation of cities from fascist invaders.
Earlier, "New Sevastopol" reported that Sevastopol approved the release of a commemorative medal for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city.
