More fear than harm, Monday, October 29, near Lassay-les-Châteaux (in Mayenne). It was around 4 pm when a car left the D33 road, at a place called La Fonerie, before ending its race in a body of water, about two meters deep.

The driver would have lost control by sliding over gravel that covered the roadway.

Grandparents and their grandchildren

On board the vehicle, four people: a couple of grandparents aged 72 and 73, and their two grandchildren (7 and 9 years old). All managed to get out of the cabin before the arrival of help.

Held by 17 firefighters, including a nautical team, the family was then transported to the Mayenne hospital to take exams.
