The 2018 Samurai Japan rendezvous continues this Saturday, November 3, 2018. With nearly a hundred artists and artisans.

This Saturday, the convention center vibrates at the Japanese time. Invited as part of Samurai Japan 2018, nearly a hundred artists and artisans from Japan offer, in a merry tote, a glimpse of Japanese culture.

The lobby houses beautiful calligraphy of ideograms signed Fuyoh Kobayashi. The big stage hosts traditional dances and theater, but also drums concert, videos, J-pop mini-concert ...

Below, a space brings together several stands: wooden toys, cloth cards, origami, fans ... You can have fun donning an old-fashioned kimono with a seamstress, learn calligraphy, discover the Japanese alphabet, enjoy a seated massage. Or cross Hideyki, former judoka transformed into clown-horn candy seller, perched on balance getas, wooden clogs-sandals.

Gourmets can also taste a glass of sake, discover surprising recipes and treat themselves to a rice ball or sushi-deco.

Samurai Japan , this Friday, November 2, until 9 pm; Saturday 3, from 11:30 to 18:00, Palais des Congrès and culture of Le Mans. Free entry.
