“We see the fact that unity makes us stronger by the example of the INF Treaty ... It’s right that NATO condemned violations of the INF Treaty by Russia, and that we all are trying to preserve this agreement on the merits,” TASS quoted the Minister.

According to her, it was clearly stated that "we will respond to the increased threat of Russian weapons together."

“This means a joint analysis, a combination of forces and means that would be needed if Russia does not make concessions,” she added.

Earlier, Ursula von der Lyayen said that Russia should play by the rules, and its western neighbors to be strong and have patience.

She pointed out that playing by the rules means sticking to an order that is based on the rules, "nothing else."

As emphasized in Berlin, commenting on the decision of the United States to suspend the implementation of the INF Treaty, the world will become less secure without an agreement.
