The Sharjah Criminal Court sentenced an accused of Asian nationality to six months' imprisonment and deportation from the state after he was convicted of assaulting police officers while they were working.

Police officers were working in one of the areas in Sharjah, when they encountered the suspect and suspected him. They asked him for his identity and his identity papers. After examining his criminal case, it was found that he was wanted on another case and that he had not been executed. The police arrested him, but he resisted them and assaulted one of them.

The court found the defendant guilty of what he was accused of, denied the charges, said he was sentenced in the case of "illegal secrecy" in Abu Dhabi, and that he applied to the court for amnesty, denying the assault on the police.
