The EPIC filed a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act, stating that the information in the Muller report "has a staggering public interest."

“The public has the right to know about the full scale of Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election in the United States and whether the President of the United States played any role in this interference,” says an EPIC statement filed with the US District Court in the District of Columbia.

Earlier it became known that Muller completed the investigation into the case of "Russia's interference" in the American elections in 2016 and passed the corresponding report to the head of the US Department of Justice, William Barr.
