Dozens of Yemenis took part in a protest outside the local authority building in the southern city of Taiz, condemning the security chaos and assassinations, the latest of which was an assassination attempt on the president of Taiz University, Dr. Mohammed al-Shuaibi.

Dozens of protesters in the city of Ataq, the administrative center of the southern province of Shabwa, called on the Saudi-led coalition to rebuild what was destroyed by the war and to provide development projects in the province.

In a speech during the demonstration, the head of the People's Assembly in Shabwa, Major General Ahmad Musaed Hussein, asked the coalition countries to provide new and vital projects for the province, and to pump oil and gas from the port of "Al-Balaf" and open the airport "Ataq".

He also called for the coalition to unite the military and security forces in the province, and coordination between forces loyal to the legitimate government and the so-called elite forces backed by the UAE.
