It was 5:20 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 when a fire broke out on the A84 at Pont-Farcy and Gouvets aboard a heavy weight carrying eggs. The intervention of the reliefs neutralized a way before requiring the total closure of the traffic in the direction Rennes-Caen.
Traffic is diverted between exits 38 (Villedieu) and 40 (Guilberville). In the direction Caen-Rennes, the traffic is only open on one lane, which causes a slowdown of about 1 km. The situation should return to normal around 19:00.
