HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, patron of the Hamdan Medical Award, named 16 winners of the 10 th Hamdan Medical Award 2017-2018, which is a major issue of the musculoskeletal system.

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum briefed the audience on the winners of the World Awards, the Arab World Awards and the UAE Awards. He praised the transparency and impartiality of their selection, which is the result of great efforts exerted by the members of the Scientific Committees, .
He also reviewed the work progress in the arrangements for the honoring of the winners, on December 12, which will be held in conjunction with the organization of the 10th Dubai International Medical Conference, from 13 to 14 of the same month.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanked the former Board Member Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi for his active contributions to the activities of the Award during his tenure as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Al Owais and the Board of Trustees of the Award thanked HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his generous and continuous support to the health and medical sectors, valuing the important role played by the award in motivating the achievement of medical excellence locally, regionally and internationally.
He said that the official announcement of the winners will be part of the press conference, which will be organized by the award in the next few days, noting that the total value of the prizes amounts to two million and 800 thousand dirhams.
The Global Awards include three awards: Hamdan International Grand Prize and its theme at the current session diseases of the musculoskeletal system, Hamdan Award for Medical Research Excellence, as well as the Hamdan Award for volunteers in medical and humanitarian services.
The Arab World Awards include the Hamdan Award for Best College, Institute or Medical Center in the Arab World, and the Hamdan Award to honor distinguished medical personalities in the Arab world. The UAE Awards include the Hamdan Award for the best medical department in the UAE government sector, the Hamdan Award for Outstanding Medical Personnel, and the Hamdan Award for Best Research published in the Journal of Medical Sciences.
