Guayido talked about negotiations with the Venezuelan military

He said this in an interview with The Washington Post.

“We are negotiating with representatives of the civil administration, as well as with the military,” he said.

As explained by Guayido, discussions are conducted in a secret atmosphere to ensure the safety of participants in the process.

On January 23, Guayido declared himself the interim head of state. Washington therefore called on the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, to hand over power to him.
