Expelled from Côte d'Ivoire to Benin, his country of origin, "to avoid disturbances to public order", according to the Ivorian authorities, the polemicist Kémi Séba, champion of the monetary sovereignty of Africa of the West, arrived Tuesday night in Cotonou aboard a commercial flight Air Côte d'Ivoire. After being called to order by the Beninese minister, he returned home.

The plane on which he was traveling landed in Cotonou in the evening of Tuesday. On his descent, Kémi Séba is picked by Beninese police and placed at the disposal of the Intelligence and Territory Directorate.

The DRT allows him to quickly greet his family who came to welcome him and he is taken away. Without news of him, his supporters give the alert on social networks and report that the activist is arrested.

The police do not react and do not communicate. Wednesday, around 17 hours, he is taken to the office of the Minister of the Interior.

It's a warning session. Kemi Sheba defends herself. It lasts a few minutes. He is told at the end of the interview that he can go home. In the process, he published a post describing his meeting with the Minister of the Interior as "epic". "We are not afraid of anything," writes the polemist on his Facebook page.

Thursday morning, Kémi Séba intends to gather the press to tell his misadventure of Abidjan.
