It is reported that Apple plans to launch three new iPhone devices with OLED OLED screens in sizes 5.42, 6.06 and 6.67 inches, respectively, in 2020, according to sources from telephone components suppliers in Taiwan.

The smallest 5.42 phone is manufactured today and slightly larger than the 4.87-inch iPhone 4S launched by Apple in 2016.

In the meantime, the US company will continue this year to introduce the same models and sizes of the same phones launched in 2018, namely the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models and the 6.1-inch LCD.

In addition to the small screen size, the 5.42-inch model may come either from Samsung's TO-touch technology or Y-Octa to recognize the fingerprint - as the sources indicate - and both solutions will reduce the cost of the device.

The flexible Wi-Octa technology removes the bottom layer of the screen, allowing the touch circuit to be directly connected to the main screen layer, making the position of the touch thinner and the fingerprint read finer by sources.

Samsung is therefore likely to remain the main supplier of Apple's OLED displays in 2020.

The sources estimated that Apple may ship more than 80 million iPhones in the first half of this year, and about 180-190 million units throughout the year.
