“Martyshev thanked the Embassy for the consular assistance provided to him. He said that the announcement of the sentence in his case is scheduled for April 19, 2019, ”the embassy said in a statement published by Facebook.

It is noted that Martyshev is contained in the general mode.

He has no complaints about conditions of detention and state of health.

The Russian reported that he worked in prison on a voluntary basis and regularly communicates with his lawyer and relatives by telephone and video link.

The embassy stressed that they would continue to provide the Russian citizen with the necessary assistance to respect his legal rights.

In July 2017, it became known that Martyshev, who was extradited from Latvia to the USA, is charged with four points: conspiracy, conspiracy to commit electronic fraud, electronic fraud and incitement to crime, as well as causing harm to computer systems.
