The first bus to be operated by the Public Transport Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) arrived in Al Ain on the new bus line between Dubai and Al Ain. Officials from the Department of Transport and the Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Center (ADDC) received passengers onboard the first board and gifts.

The Department of Transport underlined the importance of the new line, saying it meets the growing demand for public bus services between Dubai and Al Ain, enhances the network of bus routes operating between UAE and UAE cities, provides more options for mass transit passengers and brings residents, visitors and tourists between Al Ain and Dubai.

For its part, the Integrated Transport Center said that the new service comes as part of the continuous efforts to enhance joint cooperation with the strategic partners in the country to develop the services provided to users of public transport and enhance the bus transport network.

The new line (E201) will be launched from the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Dubai to the Al Ain Bus Station in 30 minutes, through Al Jafiliya Metro Station to the north, Al Wasl Club 1, Emirates National Bank Dubai - Nad Al Sheba, Al Fakah 1 station, Emirates University Mohammed Bin Khalifa Street 1, Al Madinah 1 Petroleum Station, and Sheikha Salama 1 Mosque.

The new service is expected to attract around 250,000 passengers a year, with convenient and secure buses and the latest technical and technical specifications, such as free Wi-Fi.
