After three days of meeting in Brussels, the leaders of the Congolese Lamuka coalition finally managed to deliver a declaration on the future of their structure. Jean-Pierre Bemba, Martin Fayulu, Freddy Matungulu, Adolphe Muzito and Moise Katumbi, who arrived in Brussels for the last day, will explore the possibilities of turning the electoral coalition into a political platform.

For this last day of the meeting, the leaders of Lamuka had made an appointment to the press at 15:30. They needed four more hours to tune their violins. But they ended up showing up, all five, together, united. Moise Katumbi, the great absent of the last days, had made the trip for the reading of the final communiqué.

In this nine-point statement, they reaffirm their willingness to work together, and turn the electoral platform into a political coalition. " We are not in power, we are not in management, we are outside, but in the coming days, you will have a detail and a description of the organization and restructuring of Lamuka in this context. "Said Jean-Pierre Bemba.

Not sure therefore that Martin Fayulu will continue to lead this reformed coalition. What about a possible dialogue with Felix Tshisekedi, a point of contention between the leaders? " Felix, it's a brother, the problem is that we must first dissect the evil, and what's wrong in our country, why the country does not move, why yt- he had fraud? The evil is Kabila, "said Moses Katumbi.

Relief for the activists, who invaded the press conference room. The leaders have not signed Lamuka's death sentence these days, as some feared.
