The Director of Al Barsha Police Station, Brigadier Abdul Rahim Bin Shafi ', ​​confirmed that the Center received a report from the school officials stating that a former employee, who was the director of the Information Technology Department, surveyed and deleted files for the school, which has 18 branches in the country. He pointed out that Al Barsha police station formed a working team to follow up the communication in cooperation with the Department of Cyber ​​Crime and the INTERPOL section in the Department of Public Investigation and Criminal Investigation in Dubai Police. He pointed out that the experts in the management of cyber crimes immediately went to school and retrieved the deleted files and secured the school network and data. The INTERPOL division issued an international arrest warrant and a red bulletin against the former head of IT, who had worked at the school for 16 years, and continued follow-up by the Department's wanted officers with INTERPOL officers to monitor his route in Europe. While attempting to cross into Italy, he was arrested at the border and is being coordinated with the competent authorities in Italy in order to receive him and bring him to justice. The director of Al Barsha police station praised the speed of the school administration's submission of the communication and its keenness that the law take its course despite the knowledge that the former head of the Information Technology Department had left the country. "The rapid communication between the Dubai Police and the schools is one of the results of implementing the school security initiative, Which started last February in various parts of the emirate and contributed to reducing the rate of criminal communications related to schools and students to 38% and traffic to 33%.
