He also checked the state of the barracks and the canteen and visited an Orthodox military church in honor of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, during which he donated an icon to the church.

During the meeting with the servicemen, Cartapolov added that the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the country officially began to work in Russia on November 1.

In July, it became known that a new structure was created at the Russian Ministry of Defense - the military-political department of the Armed Forces.
