According to TASS, the UN special envoy for Syria said that he had made this decision for personal reasons.
“I will move on with the last week of November. I served as a special envoy for four years and four months. I spent some time discussing with the Secretary-General my desire to leave for solely personal reasons, ”he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Earlier it was reported that de Mistura can visit Moscow before the end of this month.
