Belbek airfield in the Crimea received the first aircraft after the reconstruction of the runway

According to TASS, the first technical landing was made on the airfield - Su-30M2 fighters flew from Krymsk.

An air regiment of 24 airplanes will be based at Belbek.

The new strip of the airfield is 500 m longer than the old one and meets international standards.

In November, the Russian Ministry of Defense completed the construction of a new runway (WFP) at the Belbek airfield complex with a length of 3450 meters.
