Yann Gourio died Tuesday in Lille at the age of 48. Between 2006 and 2008, he had been sous-préfet of Bayeux. After studying history, this Breton native had started his career at the direction of Veterans of Côtes-d'Armor.
In 2001, he joined the prestigious National School of Administration. When he left in 2003, the enarque worked first at the Ministry of Equipment, at the Financial Affairs Department, before knowing the land on the Bayeux district. In 2008, he left Bessin, to become director of cabinet of the prefect of Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
Father of seven children, Yann Gourio was Deputy Director at the Regional Directorate for the Environment, Planning and Housing of the Haut de France, Lille, since 2014.
His funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, in Lille.
