Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir today held an emergency meeting led by the Sudanese army to discuss developments on the Sudanese arena.

A source in the Sudanese armed forces that President Bashir entered an emergency meeting today with the army leadership to study the current situation and report thereon.

The source added that the meeting today is an extension of the meeting held yesterday with Bashir the same parties.

In the same context, sources close to President al-Bashir said that the latter is closer to the implementation of the plan «B» on the handover of power to the Sudanese army, after the agreement on specific guarantees related to the situation in the country and others related to the file of international criminal.

At the same time, the death toll among demonstrators rose to six after the death of a staff member by stray bullets near a building close to the headquarters of the Sudanese army, where tens of thousands of demonstrators held since Saturday.

Hundreds of Sudanese continue to flock to the headquarters of the Sudanese army in Khartoum to join tens of thousands of protesters as security and policing attempts continue to disperse protesters with tear gas and live ammunition.
