Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa stressed that the number of women candidates demonstrates the size of the interaction with the elections. He also confirmed that the counting of votes is done manually by counting the papers.

"The people of Bahrain are able to live for their homeland," he said, calling for the non-politicization of young people.

He explained that the Bahrainis will go according to their desire to participate without fear or intimidation using phrases about "paradise and fire," and that what the people of Bahrain to participate is their sense of allegiance to their country.

"We are not under pressure to participate but under the pressure of how to participate and make room for people," he said, adding that security measures are very regular this year, and individual incidents have been dealt with lawfully.

In response to statements that there is a law to deal with the elections as a right, and punish those who fail to vote, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, the administrative side in the elections is based on the body of law and law, an independent of the government, Bahraini Minister of Information Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi said during the conference that the parliamentary and municipal elections are a step in the framework of the reform project of King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and that popular participation in the elections is a right. He pointed out that the Bahraini people have demonstrated their awareness of the national unity and the democratic choice, and rejected any calls or schemes suspected of demolition, sabotage, terrorism or bullying abroad, and participated actively in the elections of the past, putting the country and its supreme interest above any sectarian considerations or ideological or partisan narrow.

He also affirmed the availability of constitutional and legal guarantees for the integrity, transparency and neutrality of the elections, under full judicial supervision, and the control of civil society in addition to press and media censorship.

As for the media coverage of the parliamentary and municipal elections, Al Rumaihi confirmed the participation of more than 500 media, technical and engineering cadres in the Ministry of Information Affairs in covering the elections and that the candidates and candidates presented their election programs on television according to the principle of equality and equal opportunities.

For his part, the head of the Constitution and Legislation Committee, the Executive Director of the 2018 elections, Counselor Nawaf Hamza, said in his speech during the conference that there are 40 sub-centers to receive voters tomorrow, including 14 public centers where voters can vote.

He explained that the preparatory committees for the elections have been formed since last March, pointing out that the elections in Bahrain are under full judicial supervision.
