The minister told about it on the air of the Austrian TV and Radio Company ORF, TASS reported.

"The invitation was absolutely spontaneous ... When the Russian president was in Vienna on a visit, I invited him to a wedding, offered to get acquainted with my chosen one, although I did not even count on it," Knyazl said.

According to her, on July 19 she found out that the Russian president had accepted an invitation to a wedding.

She noted that she and Putin were not bound by "long friendships", but at the time they had "some interesting conversations."

"The president asked my opinion about some events in the Middle East, I shared it," she added.

August 18, Putin visited the wedding of Kneisl in Austria. At the solemn event, the Russian president delivered a toast.

According to the Kremlin, Putin presented Knyazl with a rural-style picture, an old oil-presser, and a Tula samovar.
